Jesus in the neighbourhood
CENTRAL CONFERENCE – 24-26 November
What does it look like when Jesus moves into the neighbourhood? Everywhere Jesus went, there was light. The hopeless received hope, the sick were healed, the bound were set free, the poor were cared for, the disoriented received purpose – in short: the Kingdom of God has come. How can we, as representatives of Jesus, as the Body of Christ, extend the Kingdom of God in our world? What difference can it make when followers of Jesus receive the power of the Holy Spirit and start washing the feet of their neighbourhood? At CENTRAL CONFERENCE we want to get to talk about these questions, sense God’s concerns for our world and be filled anew with the power of the Holy Spirit to go into all the world and be like Jesus.
At CENTRAL CONFERENCE we will look at how we as Christians can make a difference in our neighbourhoods.
What you can expect
Main sessions
There will will find worship, preaching and prayer. It is important to us that the contents do not remain just theory, but also “happen” – that means that God can do what he likes among us. What exactly God will do at the conference, we do not know. But we know that God is good and we will always pay attention and respond to what he is doing among us. What HE does, we want to do; what HE does not do, we do not want to do.
Seminars
The seminars are deliberately broad in theme to help you be like Jesus in your context. From topics such as kids and youth work to leadership and worship, there is a lot on offer. Sometimes you’ll get really good answers at the seminars, sometimes really good questions or ideas. We are all learning and no one is finished yet. We invite you to listen, think and talk in the seminars.
In-between
In downtime and in the evenings you have the chance to meet people, drop by the book shop or just take a break. There are cosy places for this in the Lahnlounge Bar of the Evangeliumshalle.
On Saturday evening, the Lahnlounge bar will be open. Here you can buy drinks, meet people and relax. There will also be an auction, from which the proceeds will go to various projects that live like Jesus in their neighbourhoods. We look forward to seeing you there!

Leadership Day – 24 November
On Friday mornings we offer extra sessions for leaders and those interested in leadership. The leaders day will run from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will take place in a smaller group at CENTRAL. Feel free to sign up if you are interested in leadership, deep and honest conversation and encounter with the Holy Spirit. The Leader Day Ticket is booked independently from the Conference Ticket . To attend the Conference as well, you will need an additional Conference Ticket.
Important: The leaders day will take place at CENTRAL Richtsberg.
